***BIG UPDATE ***

We hit our fourth stretch goal, which added 50% more content!! Thanks everybody! We are still hoping to hit our next stretch goal, which will double the content, but for right now, with about 34 hours left, I'm super happy!

Hi! The Casefile: Arkham Kickstarter project is ALMOST COMPLETE. There's still a couple of days as I write this, so it's getting to be your last chance to help fun my graphic novel by pre-ordering (and possibly upgrading to some cool incentives like prints, shot glasses, bookmarks, stickers, original drawings, pendants, and more).

www.kickstarter.com/projects/3…

And if you're tired of all the podcast interviews with me and/or Writer Josh-Finney then here's a written interview where we discuss Casefile: Arkham:

Patrick McEvoy and Josh Finney sit down with John Lepper of the Blood Shed to discuss their latest project, Casefile: Arkham.
Josh I. Finney: A hardboiled PI tale told on the mean streets of Lovecraft’s most haunted city–Arkham. It’s as if Raymond Chandler wrote stories in Lovecraft’s twisted, doom-fixated, warped, fishy world.
Patrick McEvoy: Visually, I’m tying to evoke the feeling of old movies – both the noir style of the 1940’s and the earlier German films like “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” or “M” or “Metropolis”. I’m also filtering this through my love of old EC and Warren comics – lots of creepy detail, scary shadows and evocative facial expressions. And also the fish thing.
Read the rest here at The Blood Shed: www.theblood-shed.com/josh-i-f…

Thanks for all the support! If we can somehow coax an extra $1000 in that short time, the book will get a lot more pages at NO extra charge. So tell everyone you know - time to enjoy the existential horror is running out.

Now that our Kickstarter has successfully completed (yay! And thanks to everyone who backed us!) I'm getting on with the work. More pages coming all the time now! Here's one in which P.I. Hank Flynn's client, May Derlith, is admiring one of Richard Upton Pickman's horrific paintings.

With two weeks to spare, we've reached 100% funding for Casefile: Arkham, the noir detective/Lovecraftian horror graphic novel by me and Josh-Finney !!

www.kickstarter.com/projects/3…

If you've been on the fence about funding, you can now rest assured that it WILL be printed and all the excellent incentives are funded as well. So hop on board! If we can make it to our stretch goal of $11,000 we'll add 20 pages to the book, and if we make it to $14,000, the story length doubles - at NO EXTRA CHARGE. So tell your friends, wake up your neighbors, and alert the local media! And check out all the fun incentives and add-ons you can get; posters, cards, bookmarks, buttons, pendants, original art and much more can be yours. I wish *I* were you so I could get in on the fun. ;)

As always you can see some previews right here on DA in my Casefile: Arkham gallery -- patrickmcevoy.deviantart.com/g…

And if you're curious to hear me and Josh discuss CF:A, here's a spiffy interview we did just this week for the Meduspod podcast: meduspod.com/2015/03/06/medusp…

Thanks everyone for your support OR future support!

Casefile: Arkham pg 5 - a messy end by PatrickMcEvoy
Casefile: Arkham pg 5 - a messy end
Here's page 5 of Casefile: Arkham, the end of the chase scene I've been posting. Looks like things haven't worked out well for our happy couple at all.  Of course, this is a page from the new graphic novel I'm working on with Josh-Finney and 01Publishing . Noir-era Hard-boild detective fiction meets Lovecraft, in glorious black-and-white! The Kickstarter is IN PROGRESS NOW! If you want to be the FIRST to get the book, along with some other utterly amazing incentives, this is the place:  www.kickstarter.com/projects/3…

I'm doing all the art - pencils and inks - in this series, and Josh and I are proud and excited to be working on this unique graphic novel.

Casefile: Arkham pg 4 - blind alley
Let's pick up on our couple from the "chase scene" earlier. This is page 4 of Casefile: Arkham, a new graphic novel I'm working on with Josh-Finney and 01Publishing . Noir-era Hard-boild detective fiction meets Lovecraft, in glorious black-and-white! The Kickstarter has now launched! If you want to be the FIRST to get the book, along with some other frankly incredible incentives, this is the place:  www.kickstarter.com/projects/3…

I'm doing all the art - pencils and inks - in this series! I know you hear this sort of thing a lot in the comics world, but I am truthfully VERY excited about this project.

Legendary’s Thomas Tull has just made it official at his Comic-Con panel: Gareth Edwards appeared via video announcing Godzilla 2. He will direct after helming the Star Wars spinoff. They also disclosed Mothra, Rodan and Ghidorah would be part of it, and the clip ended with “Let them fight.”

Mothra
Rodan
And Ghidorah all coming in 2018!
