Here's another cover from the "Fall of Cthulhu" series from Boom! Studios. I did this about a year and a half ago I think. I was very happy with this one - it seemed to come about in a very effortless way. I did the sketch for approval in pen with no pencils, then I just drew the main ballerina character and painted over her for this final. The whole process was less than 8 hours. A good day's work. :)

Awesome. Alot of people don't do Lovecraft right. This is an exception. Never heard of the comic series ntil now, but it sparked my interest!

Thanks! The series is a modern continuation of the Lovecraft mythos, and VERY creepy, too. Nyarlathotep is arraying terrifying forces for a war of the Gods, and as always the Gods and Old Ones use human proxies in horrible and unspeakable ways to further their agendas.

I really love this series! It tells a complete story over several volumes that you can get from Boom! studios. I did 7 covers for it - issues 6 - 10, 12 & 13. This issue 9 cover is also the cover for the Vol. 2 collection "The Gathering". But be sure to start with volume 1!
